Beginning the Day in the Lord’s Grace?! |

2026-04-17 ㅣ No.189129 This morning, as usual, I set out from home and followed the bike trail all the way to Santa Monica Beach before returning. Along the way, I passed one of the few man‑made marinas in the United States—home to nearly eighteen to twenty thousand boats. Riding past that vast forest of masts and continuing along the trail always gives me a sense of quiet awe.
Breathing in the radiant, warm air of the Pacific Ocean, I felt grateful for the gift of creation and the life God has placed before us. It is a beautiful way to begin the day, receiving the morning as a blessing rather than a routine.
As the Psalm says, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” May this same spirit of gratitude and hope fill the hearts of all our parishioners today.
I pray that each of you begins your day with renewed strength and a hopeful spirit.
